Requirements
- Experience in building, selling, and negotiating complex and multi-year hardware, software, delivery services, managed security services, and security staffing solutions to Fortune 1000 clients.
- The Sales Director will focus on selling WaveStrong’s professional services, managed security services, and security product solutions to named accounts within a geographic territory. Responsibilities include cultivating new business, leveraging existing clients, and managing all aspects of the sales cycle within the assigned territory and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build a large sales pipeline within the territory and achieve/exceed an annual margin objective of $4M.
- Effectively communicate WaveStrong's value proposition across three Practice Areas: Information Security Professional Services, Value Added Reseller/System Integrator, Managed Security Services.
- Build strong relationships with security technology partners and field sales reps to generate leads and sales opportunities.
- Adopt a consultative sales approach to foster long-term growth and client roadmaps.
- Maintain relationships through all sales cycle phases, including delivery outcomes.
- Proven track record in selling services and negotiating complex multi-year solutions to Fortune 1000 clients.
- Monitor and mediate communications among customer, vendor, and technical resources.
- Maintain internal communication with WaveStrong team regarding opportunities and requirements.
- Over 10 years of experience in solution and services-based sales in an Information Security environment.
- Ability to build and execute territory and account plans, with a history of exceeding quotas.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and detailed writing skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the IT Security market and competitors.
- Strong relationships with key regional executives and sponsors.
- Experience in Risk/Compliance and IT Infrastructure markets.
- Awarded for exceptional sales initiative and ability.
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the region.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
