Job Description Summary

As a member of a sales team, the sales development rep is responsible for prospecting net new business within a defined geographic territory in the small and medium market. The role involves finding and vetting new business opportunities and developing value propositions.

Essential Functions
  • Targets new business opportunities by identifying potential new customers and growing revenue, conducting background research, discussing the customer's supply chain with decision makers and analyzing customer needs.
  • Utilizes Suggested Calls and other data‑driven reporting to identify customer growth opportunities via call cycling and visits.
  • Maintains regular and consistent communication with manager and peers within the Sales organization regarding joint sales call opportunities to support new/incremental revenue.
  • Maintains a healthy pipeline of new leads, completes successful calls on those leads and schedules opportunity handoff calls.
  • Navigates internal, cross‑functional processes to coordinate and collaborate on support and solutions with internal teams for a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborates with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas to identify issues and develop/implement solutions that support revenue growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education / Minimum Experience
  • Must meet one of the following: a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; four (4) years of B2B sales experience; or one (1) year of the company’s B2B sales experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Communication skills, presentation skills, product knowledge, resilience with prospecting and lead qualification, time management, organization, self‑motivation, adaptability, business acumen, and experience leveraging technology.
Job Conditions
  • Moderate overnight travel required.
  • Customer‑facing role that requires regular in‑person meetings.
  • Candidates must live within a 50‑mile radius of Seattle or Spokane, WA.
Pay

Minimum: $2,529.28 per month. Maximum: $5,014.64 per month.
