Sales Development Representative (Remote Eligible)

Smartsheet is looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative (Remote Eligible) to provide pre-sales support. You will service inbound sales inquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying prospective customers. You will be one of the first touch points for prospects and set the tone for the sales cycle following. This role is a great opportunity to begin your career in sales or transition into the SaaS industry.

This remote role is based in the US and reports to a Manager of Sales Development.

You Will:
  1. Engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  2. Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account knowledge
  3. Partner and work with the Commercial Sales teams—including New Business, Client Development, Customer Success, and Professional Services
  4. Develop account knowledge, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct engagement and insight tools
  5. Schedule appointments and demos for new logo acquisitions and expansion into existing customer base
  6. Hold thoughtful and engaging conversations over the phone and email
  7. Become a subject matter expert on Smartsheet products and services
  8. Perform other duties as assigned
You Have:
  1. Ability to understand customer pain points and requirements, presenting Smartsheet as a solution
  2. Capacity to manage multiple requests and demands while achieving goals
  3. Strong team contribution skills
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  5. Passion for new technologies and concepts
  6. Resilience and ability to handle adversity
  7. Degree or relevant work experience
Benefits and Compensation:

Includes HSA, employer-paid premiums, medical/vision/dental options, 401k match, employee stock options, paid volunteer days, professional growth opportunities, and teleworking options. The salary range for the US is $50,000 - $54,000, depending on location and experience.
