In this Sales Development Representative role, you will play a critical part in helping prospective customers understand the value of Sanity’s innovative content operations platform. This position is a backfill for a recently promoted SDR, demonstrating our commitment to career growth and development. You will help shape the SDR function by refining processes and setting best practices, with ample opportunities to develop skills and take on new challenges. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and contribute directly to Sanity’s success as a product-led growth company.

Responsibilities
  1. Engage and Qualify Prospects: Connect with potential and existing self-serve customers through outreach channels like phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest in Sanity.io. Focus on uncovering business challenges and qualifying leads to maintain a strong, targeted pipeline.
  2. Be a Product Evangelist: Advocate for Sanity’s content platform and its benefits, such as treating content as data for seamless adaptability. Share insights with prospects to drive interest and educate them on how Sanity can enhance their digital experiences.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales: Work closely with marketing to refine messaging based on customer feedback and with the sales team to improve handoff processes. Your insights will be vital for Sanity’s product-led growth strategy.
  4. Master Sanity’s Tools and CRM: Use our CRM (Salesforce) and engagement tools (Outreach) to track progress, manage your pipeline, log interactions, and optimize data for team insights.
  5. Contribute to Process Development: Share ideas to optimize workflows, outreach strategies, and automation to improve efficiency and sales motion.
  6. Capture and Share Market Insights: Record customer interaction insights to inform marketing, sales, and product development, helping Sanity adapt to industry needs.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in Sales Development or Sales at a SaaS company
  • Interest and knowledge of developer-oriented SaaS tools
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand technical software and developer tools
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for problem-solving
