Sales Development Representative - Government Sales - Texas

SAFEbuilt is currently searching for an exceptional Sales Development Representative to join our team to sell outsourced community development services to municipal government. SAFEbuilt is the recognized leader in this fast-growing industry, offering a broad array of services with a national footprint and a reputation for unparalleled service quality. As a member of SAFEbuilt’s sales team, you will be responsible for initiating and developing relationships with senior leaders in city and municipal government, construction companies, and facility owner operators, resulting in appointments, qualified leads, and sales. This position is remote.

Responsibilities
  • Exceed daily/weekly appointment and qualified leads targets, and sales targets for some services.
  • Generate qualified appointments and leads through outbound and inbound (warm and cold) calls and emails for sales follow-up.
  • Develop and implement prospecting campaigns for sales territories and services, aligned with marketing efforts.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities through research, outreach, rapport-building, technical explanations, and quotations.
  • Analyze competitors and identify sales opportunities using internet tools and industry resources.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of SAFEbuilt’s services, operations, and market through training and self-learning.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and clients.
  • Utilize and promote the use of sales tools such as email, phone, social media, LinkedIn, Salesforce, and PARDOT.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and adhere to company values.
  • Contribute to a positive, client-focused, proactive work environment.
  • Provide feedback for sales and marketing improvements.
  • Manage sales and client data, and prepare reports and forecasts.
  • Work independently, proactively drive results, and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred, ideally in business, public administration, communications, or construction.
  • At least 3 years of inside sales experience with services to businesses or government entities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with municipal environments is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and web presentation tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a proactive approach to prospecting and sales.
  • Sense of urgency and desire for career growth.
Compensation

Base salary: $60,000; On-Target Earnings: $79,800.
