Job Summary

BackEngine is seeking a creative, tech-savvy Sales Development Representative to help growing B2B SaaS companies discover how the platform can dramatically accelerate their ability to respond to customer needs. This professional will connect with CEOs, COOs, and Customer Success leaders who are scaling their operations and need to maintain deep customer connections.

What This Role Will Do

  • Research and identify ideal customer profiles (B2B SaaS companies scaling from 50–1000 customers)
  • Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) using structured sales cadences
  • Create compelling, personalized messaging that resonates with senior executives
  • Focus on quality over quantity—conducting deep research and targeted outreach to the right prospects
  • Book qualified meetings with decision-makers for the Account Executives
  • Track and analyze outreach effectiveness to continuously improve approach
  • Contribute to pipeline generation with a focus on preventing customer churn and identifying expansion opportunities
  • Consistently develop creative, effective approaches to executive outreach
  • Find innovative ways to use technology to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Maintain a high conversion rate from meetings to qualified opportunities
