The Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, driving new business and growing our sales pipeline. You'll:

Identify and engage key decision-makers

Qualify leads and book meetings for our sales team

Use LinkedIn, video, email, and calls to connect with prospects

Represent LayerX at major industry events ( RSA, Black Hat, etc. )

Work closely with marketing and sales to refine messaging and strategy

  • Sales-driven mindset —you’re competitive, persistent, and hungry to learn
  • Outstanding communication skills —you know how to engage and influence people
  • Experience in lead generation or inside sales (cybersecurity/SaaS is a plus!) at east one year*
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented —you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Located in theMidwest/East/South East
