Job summary

Leverage Companies is seeking a Sales Development Representative for Brick City Capital in Newark, NJ. The role centers on the top of the funnel: prospecting, qualifying, and setting appointments for loan officers and account executives, building a robust DSCR and Non-QM product pipeline.

You will be mentored by senior sales pros, learn DSCR/Non-QM products, and have a direct path toward an Account Executive role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in SDR/inside sales or customer-facing role, with mortgage/real estate experience encouraged.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for phone-based outreach.
• Experience with high-volume outbound calling and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume outbound outreach: 80–100 dials per day plus email and LinkedIn outreach to mortgage brokers and real estate partners.
• Qualify leads and set appointments for originations team, contributing to pipeline growth.
• Manage inbound leads from marketing campaigns and events follow-up; maintain CRM records.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly activity targets for calls, emails, and qualified appointments.
