Job summary

Lima One Capital is seeking a Sales Intern to support the Inside Sales Team and Revenue Operations in Greenville, SC. You will reach out to leads, qualify borrowers, and schedule meetings for Senior Loan Officers, building your own sales pipeline and gaining hands-on experience in loan origination and CRM workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or current pursuit in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Managers to support Inside Sales and RevOps teams.
• Assist with scheduling calls and meetings, and manage lead follow-up.
• Navigate CRM workflows and qualify leads from various sources.
• Help collect and review client documentation throughout the loan process.
• Contribute to special projects to improve sales efficiency and RevOps reporting.
• Engage in learning sessions on Excel, credit concepts, and investing.
• Provide general operational support from sales to underwriting.
• Perform other duties as assigned to gain exposure across sales.

Sales is where relationships, strategy, and results all come together — and this internship puts you right in the middle of it. As Lima One Capital's Sales Intern, you'll split your time between Revenue Operations and Sales Management, getting a front-row seat to a crucial part of our sales process. You'll reach out to leads, qualify potential borrowers, and set meetings for our Senior Loan Officers, gaining real experience navigating sales conversations and building a pipeline of your own. Along the way, you'll learn the ins and outs of loan origination and pipeline management — skills that translate directly into careers in sales, business development, and financial services. It's a hands-on opportunity to build confidence, sharpen your communication skills, and see your work directly influence business results.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Managers to observe and support the Inside Sales Team, gaining practical knowledge of the Business Purpose Lending space.
• Hands-on utilization of our pricing engine used to quote array of loan products.
• Support borrower engagement by assisting with call scheduling, follow-up, and pipeline management.
• Handle and qualify leads from various sources, while learning how to effectively navigate CRM workflows.
• Partner with the RevOps team to understand how leads are assigned, tracked, and analyzed for performance.
• Assist in collecting and reviewing client documentation throughout the loan process, providing operational support from sales to underwriting.
• Contribute to special projects that enhance both sales efficiency and RevOps reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned, gaining exposure across the sales ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Motivated self-starter who seeks to create value without constant direction.
• Eager to learn and open to feedback.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Program Details

• Location: Onsite in Greenville, SC. Join us in our thoughtfully designed headquarters in the heart of downtown Greenville (parking is paid for!). Housing assistance available for qualified individuals
• Duration: 11 weeks - Monday, May 17th to Friday, July 30th, 2027
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay: All our interns are paid for the work they perform, hourly rate dependent on position
