Job summary

Lima One Capital seeks an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience across payroll, compensation, employee relations, learning and development, and engagement. You’ll report to the SVP of HR and work with the HR team, delivering a summer-long project to Senior Leadership.

Location is onsite in Greenville, SC, with an 11-week program from May 17 to July 30, 2027. Hours are 8:30am–5:30pm, paid hourly. Housing assistance is available for qualified individuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or current pursuit in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support in planning and facilitation of employee orientation programs and events.
• Participate in employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Support data collection and analysis for compensation benchmarking initiatives.
• Contribute to HR Operations functions, such as onboarding, I-9 verification, and payroll.
• Assist in development and rollout of manager training and other training initiatives.
• Participate in competitor analysis, career fair research, and employer branding.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Partner with HR and leadership on total rewards and benefits design.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
• Other duties related to HR functions, as assigned.

Reporting directly to the SVP of HR and working alongside the entire HR team, you'll get an insider's view of how a growing company takes care of its most important asset: its people. To top it off, you'll own a summer-long project that you'll present to Senior Leadership at the end of your internship - a chance to showcase your ideas and make a lasting impression. Program Details

• Location: Onsite in Greenville, SC. Join us in our thoughtfully designed headquarters in the heart of downtown Greenville (parking is paid for!). Housing assistance available for qualified individuals.
• Duration: 11 weeks - Monday, May 17th to Friday, July 30th, 2027
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay: All our interns are paid for the work they perform, hourly rate dependent on position
