Lima One Capital invites you to join the Capital Markets Internship in Greenville, SC for 11 weeks. You will assist with data integrity, reporting, loan sale support, and funding document reviews while gaining exposure to a real estate lender’s loan portfolio lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support Data Integrity and Reporting for loan sale tapes and data corrections.
• Assist in loan sale processes by uploading credit files and answering investor questions.
• Help Funding Specialist pull and review closing documents.
• Provide administrative support related to loan sales and credit policy while learning from the team.

Lima One Capital's Capital Markets Intern will support the Capital Markets team across loan fundings, data integrity, reporting, and loan sale transactions, gaining broad exposure to how a real estate lender manages and sells its loan portfolio. This role offers a rare, front-row look at the capital markets engine that powers real estate lending. You'll see firsthand how loans move from origination to sale and gain skills that translate directly into a career in finance.

Job Responsibilities

Data Integrity and Reporting

• Assist in creating and reviewing loan sale tapes
• Clear data deltas
• Assist in clearing credit exceptions

Loan Sale Support

• Contribute to the loan sales by uploading credit files
• Observe a loan sale from bid process to closing of the sale. Assist Capital Markets Analyst in answering investor questions

Loan Fundings

• Help the Funding Specialist pull and review documents for closings

Administrative And Learning Support

• Assist with documentation and administrative tasks related to loan sales and credit policy
• Engage in learning opportunities through mentorship and team discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Motivated self-starter who seeks to create value without constant direction
• Embraces feedback
• Excel competency

Program Details

• Location: Onsite in Greenville, SC
• Join us in our thoughtfully designed headquarters in the heart of downtown Greenville (parking is paid for!)
• Housing assistance available for qualified individuals
• Duration: 11 weeks - Monday, May 17th to Friday, July 30th, 2027
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay: All our interns are paid for the work they perform, hourly rate dependent on position
