Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing reporting and strategic initiatives with BI and BD teams.
• Build and refine Tableau dashboards for executive visibility.
• Use SQL to analyze and transform data from relational databases.
• Document and optimize reporting processes for accuracy and performance.
• Contribute to BD initiatives through data analysis and pipeline visibility.
• Assist with ad hoc requests from Customer Service, Servicing, Escrow, and Sales.
• Gain exposure to Snowflake, SSRS, Tableau, and Python through projects.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and end-of-summer presentation.

Looking to build real, resume-ready experience at the intersection of data and strategy? Lima One is looking for a Business Intelligence & Business Development Intern to join our team and dive into the tools and processes that drive real business decisions. You'll get hands-on exposure to relational databases, SQL, Python, Tableau, and reporting automation - skills that translate directly into careers in software engineering, data science, operations, and business intelligence. Beyond the technical side, you'll gain visibility into how business development strategy comes together, working alongside cross-functional partners in Servicing, Sales, and Operations. Throughout the summer, you'll receive ongoing mentorship from the Business Intelligence team and sit in on team meetings, giving you a front-row seat to how a growing company turns data into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Intelligence and Business Development teams to support ongoing reporting and strategic initiatives.
• Build and refine Tableau dashboards to provide executive-level visibility into key metrics.
• Use SQL to analyze and transform data from relational databases.
• Assist in optimizing and documenting reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Contribute to business development initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and pipeline visibility.
• Support ad hoc requests from teams across Customer Service, Servicing, Escrow, and Sales.
• Gain exposure to tools like Snowflake, SSRS, Tableau, and Python through practical projects.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, mentorship check-ins, and end-of-summer presentation of findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics or related field
• Familiarity with SQL and an understanding of relational database concepts.
• Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Experience or coursework in Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate across teams and document processes clearly.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Program Details

• Location: Onsite in Greenville, SC
• Join us in our thoughtfully designed headquarters in the heart of downtown Greenville (parking is paid for!)
• Housing assistance available for qualified individuals
• Duration: 11 weeks - Monday, May 17th to Friday, July 30th, 2027
• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay: All our interns are paid for the work they perform, hourly rate dependent on position
