Job summary

Roche Bobois in Austin, TX seeks a full-time Sales and Interior Design Consultant who greets customers, presents collections, and closes orders with a blend of sales acumen and design sense.

You will collaborate with 3D designers on renderings, follow up on leads, and be involved in showroom setup and merchandising while delivering outstanding service and achieving monthly sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail furniture sales experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High-end attitude and presentation, confident, proactive, and creative.
• Ability to build relationships and connect with others.
• PowerPoint knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in the Design Furniture & Art industry.
• Eligible to work in the US.
• Interior Design degree/certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers and present Roche Bobois collections to clients.
• Learn the collections and be able to present them to our clients.
• Know and apply Roche Bobois policies and have pricing information.
• Work closely with 3D Designers on renderings and projects.
• Follow up with leads in a professional manner.
• Be on house calls when required.
• Meet personal monthly sales goals.
• Place purchase orders to factories and follow up with updates to clients.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Update showroom tagging (Prices, promotions) and assist in showroom setup.
• Report store improvements to the store manager and assist on resolutions.

ROCHE BOBOIS, World Leader in the High-end furniture industry business with 260+ showrooms in more than 60 countries, is looking for a full-time Sales and Interior Design Consultant in AUSTIN.

The Brand works closely with renowned Designers, Architects or Fashion houses such as Ora Ito, Marcel Wanders, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo Takada or Missoni Home. Roche Bobois offers also one of the largest range of products in the high-end furniture market with the best of new technologies & materials together with fine craftsmanship from small European workshops.

The main responsibilities will be:

As a Sales & Interior Design consultant, you will be responsible for understanding clients’ needs in order to offer the best service while maximizing sales. Under the supervision of the store manager, you will be the brand ambassador from greeting and presenting the Roche Bobois collections, to closing orders and sales. Your duties will be the following :

• To welcome and greet customers
• To learn the Roche Bobois collections and be able to present them to our clients
• To know and apply Roche Bobois policies and have all key information needed to sell (Quick ship stock references, samples, pricing..)
• To work closely with 3D Designers on renderings/projects;
• To follow up with leads in a professional manner;
• To be on house calls when required.
• Meeting personal monthly sales goal.

Factory Purchases Follow Up:

• To place purchase orders to our factories and be in charge of their follow up
• To provide updates to clients when needed

Customer's Service:

• To coordinate with the customer service department the resolution of potential issues with our customers
• To be service oriented and follow up with clients regarding their service requests
• To update the store tagging (Prices, special promotion
• Marketing store tools when needed
• To assist in the preparation of the settings of the showroom upon corporate policies and under the supervision of the store manager;
• To report any store improvement needed to the store manager and assist on its resolution

Required Skills and Personal Attributes:

• 2 years’ experience in a retail sales environment in the furniture industry, able to engage easily with clients.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Attention to Details.
• High-end Attitude and presentation, Confident, Passionate, Pro-active, Creative, Team player, Ability to learn quickly.
• Must have the ability to build relationships and have passion for connecting with others
• Powerpoint knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in the Design Furniture & Art industry.
• Eligible to work in the US.
• Interior Design Degree or Certificate a plus.

Work Schedule

5 days a week including weekends

Yearly Gross Salary Compensation range

$80,000-$100,000 (Including Quarterly Bonus Based on Store Sales)
