Job summary

Award Staffing is hiring a Sales & Customer Support Specialist in Dassel, MN for a temporary, first-shift role. You will handle customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat, provide product and pricing information, and process quotes and orders within our ERP system.

You will use CRM tools to identify sales opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and support sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer-facing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and ERP/CRM systems.
• Able to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Listen to customer needs, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate more complex concerns as needed.
• Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and account details.
• Prepare and process customer quotes, orders, returns (RMAs), and other documentation within the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate customer records and document customer interactions.
• Follow up on open quotes, sales opportunities, and on-hold orders.
• Research and identify new sales opportunities using CRM and sales tools such as HubSpot, Lead Forensics, and Klenty.
• Build strong customer relationships through personalized service and proactive communication.
• Meet individual and team sales goals while providing outstanding customer support.
• Continue developing product knowledge and customer service skills through ongoing training.

About the Opportunity:

• Job Title: Sales & Customer Support Specialist
• Pay Rate Range: $16.00-$18.00/hr
• Location: Dassel, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM
• Position Type: Temporary

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
