Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Customer Order Entry Specialist to support the Workpointe team. You will prepare, process and coordinate customer orders while developing strong technical skills in the order fulfillment process.

You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate orders, timely shipments, and clear communication with customers. Prior multi-project experience and proficiency with dealership software and Microsoft Office are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and apply technical skills in dealership systems (20/20 software).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and administrative abilities.

Responsabilités

• Create client proposals, including new customer setup, entry of specifications, pricing and revenue codes.
• Generate purchase orders upon receipt of complete order entry package.
• Ensure orders are entered promptly and reviewed for accuracy.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to reconcile discrepancies and confirm ship dates.
• Publish customer status reports and coordinate delivery/installation dates.
• Assist with project management tasks, including spec checks and punch list resolution.
• Participate in vendor and dealer training for ongoing growth.
• Serve as a cross-functional hub for communication with Design, Project Management, Finance and Operations.

Job Summary

Provide high-level support to customers and internal sales organization for preparation, processing and coordination of customer orders. Achieve superior technical skills and understanding of the order fulfillment process. Practice strong communication skills both internally and externally. Possess the desire to achieve a high level of professionalism through continuous improvement processes and practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create clientproposals, toincludenew customer set up, entry/import of specifications, pricing, classification and revenue codes
• Generate purchase orders upon receipt of complete order entrypacket
• Ensure orders are entered promptly, andreviewedforaccuracyandcompletenessbefore being sent to the manufacturers/vendors
• Work with vendors and internal project teamsto reconcile acknowledgement discrepanciesandmanagetimely ship dates based on project requirements
• Create andpublishcustomerstatus reports
• Coordinate delivery/installdates with vendors,Operations, clients and Project Managers (depending on work scope)
• Assist withprojectmanagementtasks, to include spec checks and punch ID/resolution Ensure factory interface is on-goingandthat others are monitored and projected ship dates andproject schedule requirements, thatallacknowledgements are checked and discrepanciesfollowed up on, andthat orders are closed out in atimelyandresponsible manner
• Participate in vendor and dealer training programs and activities for on-going professional growth and development

Departmental Responsibilities:

• Carryout requestedtasks to support efforts of individual sales representatives and Account Managers
• Serve as hub of communication and information to othercross-functional teams (Design, Project Management, Financeand Operations)
• Ensure that all communication with internal andexternalcustomers is timely, accurateandmeets customer requirements for information and order status

Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required

• Abilitytolearn and applytechnicalskillsin dealership business system and 20/20 software
• Proficiency inMicrosoftOffice software (Excel,Word, Outlook)
• Prior experience successfullymanagingmultipleprojectssimultaneouslyinafast-paced work environment
• Excellent andeffective oral and written communication
• Strong organizational, analytical and administrative skills
• Abilitytoseethe big picture and integrate into day-to-daytasks and activities
• Understanding of the complexities and sophisticationrequiredtothrivein the dealer environment
• Fluid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of customers, personnel and departments
• Customer Service work experience –preferred
• Experience with dealership business systems-preferred
• Furniture industry experience - preferred

The anticipated salary range for this role is $26-28 / hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
