Job summary

Courtyard Boston Marlborough is seeking an outgoing hospitality professional with a sales mindset to join our TEAM. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide guests with an unforgettable experience, while attracting new clients to increase revenue.

The role requires exceptional communication skills, group presentation ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservations systems.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to speak before groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of reservations systems and social media for promotions.
• Detail-oriented with basic selling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the sales department and front desk to provide guests with an unforgettable experience and attract new clients.
• Respond to guest inquiries, input group reservations, and manage rooming lists.

Responsibilities

In this role you will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience at our hotel, in addition to attracting new guests to increase our revenue. You will respond to guest inquiries, contact potential new clients, input group reservations, rooming lists, and assist with every aspect of the group’s experience with the hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and catering experience in a brand or luxury hotel establishment is ideal
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Comprehension of technical application of reservations system
• Detail-oriented; effectively use social media for postings and updates and market hotel events
• Ability to master basic selling techniques

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire.

$22/hr.
