Our client, a growing food manufacturer in the Chicagoland area, is seeking a Sales Coordinator to work directly alongside the VP of Sales on a small, fast-moving team. You'll jump in wherever needed once deals close to keep customers happy and business running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in sales support or related role.
• CPG, food, or related industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with solid organization and follow-through.
• Hungry, proactive attitude with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and grow into future sales roles.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team after deals close: forecasting, price verification, and ensuring customer service has what is needed for shipments.
• Coordinate samples and timelines for new items and manage project tasks for customers.
• Prepare for customer and internal meetings, including materials and logistics.

What you'll do:

• Support the sales team once deals close: submitting forecasts, verifying pricing accuracy, and making sure customer service has what they need for shipments
• Provide project management support when new items are created for a customer, including coordinating samples and timelines
• Help prep for customer and internal meetings, from materials to logistics
• Serve as a connective, roll-up-your-sleeves resource across sales, operations, and customer service

What we're looking for:

• 1-3 years of experience; CPG, food, or related industry experience is a plus but not required
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with rock-solid organization and follow-through
• A hungry, proactive, "whatever it takes" attitude, someone energized by a fast-paced environment
• Genuine interest in growing into a future sales or account management role
