Ed Morse Ford - Muscatine is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team. You will consult with customers to identify vehicles that fit their needs, prospect new clients, and work to achieve sales targets. The role includes handling follow-ups, learning the product line, and participating in company training.

• Experience in automotive sales or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers in person and over the phone.
• Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must successfully complete a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with customers to find avehicle to fit their specific wants and needs.
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Gain a working knowledge of theproduct line
• Attend training offered by theEd Morse Automotive Group
• The professional completion of all sales related paperwork
• Following the Ed Morse “Steps to the Sale” to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have previous Sales experience
• Steady work history and strong desire to succeed
• Basic MS Office knowledge and internet proficiency
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and follow through skills
• A strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
