Job summary

Hyundai of Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join our full-time team in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet customers, guide them through vehicle selections, and present features and options with confidence in a high-energy, fast-paced showroom environment.

compensation includes commission-based pay with potential total earnings up to $200,000 annually, plus benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the showroom or sales lot and offer assistance or directions.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to responses.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all available equipment for customer purchase.
• Build rapport with customers and conduct professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and follow the full sales process as per company standards.
• Report to the Sales Manager on objectives and activities.

Pay scale: Consist of an Hourly rate between $18.00 -$18.50 This position may also pay bonus compensation based on the value or amount of closed sales. Possible total earnings of $50,000.00 to $200,000.00.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Build strong rapport with customers.
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous dealership experience is not necessary
• Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
• Have quality customer service skills
• Possess strong communication skills
• Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to submit to a background screen prior to employment.
