Job summary

Quick Roofing is seeking a Roofing Sales Consultant to drive growth in the Kansas City area. You’ll work in the field, inspecting roofs, educating homeowners about options and insurance claims, and guiding clients from initial contact to closing the sale.

You will generate new business through canvassing, follow storm activity, and collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless scheduling and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in roofing, construction, or related industries (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence in public speaking and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through door-to-door canvassing (required).
• Prospect targeted neighborhoods, especially following storm activity.
• Conduct roof inspections and assess storm-related or general damage.
• Educate homeowners on roofing options and the insurance claim process.
• Prepare and present estimates and proposals.
• Close sales and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Partner with project managers to ensure smooth scheduling and job completion.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Roofing Sales Consultant Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience in roofing, construction, or related industries (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confidence in public speaking and presentations
• Proven track record in sales (preferred)
• Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing as a daily requirement
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and competitive drive
• Comfortable working outdoors and ability to climb ladders for roof inspections
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
