Job summary

Gresham Toyota in Gresham, OR, is hiring for a sales consultant role. You don’t need automotive experience; you’ll be trained to represent Toyota and help guests decide on a vehicle with confidence.

You’ll welcome guests, learn the product lineup through paid training, present vehicles, and build a client pipeline through follow-up and CRM usage. Expect a high-volume, value-driven sales environment with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine curiosity — find out what they need before presenting a vehicle
• Build Toyota product knowledge through paid training — the lineup, hybrids, and electrified models — so you can guide guests with confidence
• Present vehicles and run test drives that connect each Toyota to what the guest needs
• Build a client pipeline through disciplined follow-up and CRM use — repeat and referral buyers drive a high-earning career
• Work with finance and management to deliver a transparent, pressure-free purchase
• Meet monthly targets across volume, gross, and CSI

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous hospitality, customer-facing, or sales experience — required. No automotive experience needed
• Paid Toyota brand and product training from day one
• A warm, honest communicator — Gresham buyers are value-conscious and respond to straight answers
• Self-motivated, with a drive to build a book of repeat and referral buyers
• Comfortable with CRM tools and digital communication, or quick to learn them
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
