The focus of this role is to actively seek and develop meaningful relationships with BELAY prospects during the sales cycle, focused on inbound leads and prospecting, with the end result of closing and generating net new business for BELAY. As a member of the BELAY Corporate Team, you are expected to participate in phone calls and meetings (virtual and onsite), while serving as an example of the company’s mission: BELAY exists to glorify God by providing solutions that equip our clients with the confidence to climb higher.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Represent BELAY in a positive and professional manner

  • Collaborate with and help teammates while maintaining a positive and professional attitude; fostering teamwork.
Sales Lead Coordination, Prospecting, and Selling
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding a monthly quota of net new client contracts per month (inbound/prospecting) emphasizing the value of BELAY Virtual Services.
  • Responsible for daily prospecting which should result in 35% of monthly wins.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure our resources are up to date and plentiful.
  • Provide incoming sales lead coverage, responding to incoming leads with urgency and professionalism.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for leads throughout the entire sales process beginning with incoming lead-to-close (lost or won).
  • Develop, present, and implement plans for attaining new client contracts.
  • Achieve and exceed goals for revenue sold and activity with prospects.
  • Thoroughly document sales efforts in our CRM from beginning to end, including tasks, sequences, activities, funnel, etc.
  • Ability to facilitate sales calls via phone or Zoom to engage in live prospect conversations that result in sales.
  • Comfortable with web conferencing platforms - Skype, Zoom, GoToMeeting, Adobe Connect, etc.
Agreement Creation and Correspondence
  • Thoroughly create binding documents for your opportunities.
  • Serve as agreement creation backup for other team members when necessary.
  • Ensure implementation fee and payment setup is complete for newly contracted clients.
CRM
  • Assign & work CRM task(s) appropriately and complete contact record data thoroughly to enhance our marketing efforts.
  • Opportunity creation and management for all opportunities that you are the SC for.
  • At the close of each day, ensure that all CRM “today” and “past due” task(s) are complete.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work alongside leadership to build and execute a strategic plan to increase leads and maintain a sales funnel.
  • Work closely with business development and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align partnership objectives with overall business enterprise goals.

Travel: Minimum of 25% required

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of sales or related experience.
  • Ability to connect quickly and build relationships with clients.
  • Must be a driven self-starter, a positive thinker, loyal and trustworthy.
  • Attributes of flexibility, creativity, self-discipline, strong organizational skills, and action orientation are essential for this role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A high degree of autonomy with the capability of working remotely.
Working conditions

BELAY Corporate, as a virtual company, offers you the ability to work from home full-time. As such, a dedicated and secure workspace, free of distractions is required. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday. Some roles will require travel.

This role is a full-time, non-exempt, W-2 role with our company. You will have a base pay (paid twice per month) with additional commissions based on the contracts you sign. Your commission potential is unlimited and you are not capped. BELAY is a top-notch, vibrant company with an award-winning culture. Expect to have some fun while being highly engaged in your work.
