Travel + Leisure Co. seeks an in-person marketing specialist to engage with prospective and current owners at our resorts. You will schedule meetings for sales presentations and act as a brand ambassador while partnering with resort staff to coordinate guest arrivals.

Compensation includes an hourly wage with commissions and bonuses and a strong path to top performer earnings. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and solid communication skills.

Job Summary

In person marketing with prospective and/or current owners within our resorts. Schedules guests to meet with a representative for a presentation.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure Co.
• Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
• Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
• Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
• Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)
• Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%)

No travel required outside of the home site’s area

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required. Must maintain production standards.
• Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Training requirements None
• Knowledge and skills Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
• Technical Skills Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
• Job experience 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
• Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
• During the initial training period, the hourly wage is $21.00 plus commissions and bonuses.
• After the initial training period, the compensation is the state’s minimum wage per hour plus commissions and bonuses.
• The target annual compensation for this role is $75,000 comprised of hourly rate, commissions and bonuses.
• Top performers may earn up to $118,000+ for exceeding minimum production requirements.
• The actual compensation of the candidate(s) selected for this role may be affected by a variety of factors, including but not limited to performance, experience, education, skills, prior training, and work location.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $21.00 - $21.00 plus commissions and bonuses.
