CGX Mini Mart in Buzzards Bay, MA, is seeking a Sales Clerk Leader to deliver excellent customer service and manage front-end operations part-time. You will assist customers, handle cash, supervise staff, and ensure accurate pricing, stock, and promotions. This role supports those who serve by maintaining a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications include prior retail experience in inventory control and sales, with lifting requirements. Evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise.
• React to all concerns of customers quickly with a sense of importance.
• Provides outstanding customer service in assisting patrons in selection of goods or substitute items.
• Responsible for overall operations of sale department; may order merchandise, receive, price and monitor stock levels; may communicate with HQ for special orders.
• Assist store management in training employees on front-end duties and cash register operations; manage cash, reconcile tapes and maintain cash records.
• Open and close the store as required; may supervise other employees and act in absence of management.
• Follow policies regarding Loss Prevention and safety/emergency preparedness.
