Job summary

Cape Cod Exchange in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking a Sales Clerk Leader to deliver outstanding customer service, assist with merchandise selection, and ensure a smooth shopping experience for military families. You will help lead sales operations and coordinate with HQ on special orders.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge and help with the selection of merchandise.
• Responsible for overall operations of sale department. May order merchandise, receive, price and monitor stock levels.
• Operate a cash register, accept cash, personal checks, credit cards, etc., and handle cash shortages.
• Key carrier, opening and closing the store as required.
• Follow all policies regarding Loss Prevention and safety standards.
