Coast Guard Exchange in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking a part-time Sales Clerk Leader to deliver outstanding customer service and assist with product selection. You will help ensure a smooth shopping experience while supporting store operations and loss prevention.

The role requires weekend work, stock knowledge, and the ability to supervise daily front-end tasks. Compensation is $20.00/hour for part-time hours (20–29 per week).

Qualifications

• 1. Prior retail experience in inventory control and retail sales.
• 2. Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Oversee operations of the sales department, including pricing, stock levels, and signage.
• Train employees on cash register and front-end duties; support evaluations.
• Operate cash register and process payments; manage cash handling and reconciliation.
• Open/close the store as required and ensure security of funds.
