Job summary

Gemaire in Florida is seeking a Sales Center Manager to lead sales and operations for a wholesale HVAC distributor serving professionals. You will oversee showroom inventory, staff development, and overall profitability while delivering outstanding service.

The role requires 2–4 years in retail/wholesale operations, strong leadership, and a proven ability to grow sales. You will manage multiple teams and collaborate with local and regional leadership to boost traffic and performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor showroom inventory levels and merchandising.
• Manage inventory to minimize losses.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop associates in line with labor laws and policy.
• Oversee workforce including Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, Delivery, Fleet Drivers, Showroom, Counter Sales and Sales staff.
• Promote safety and ensure safe practices are followed.
• Manage branch P&L and profitability.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and address needs promptly.
• Analyze business trends with local and regional teams to drive store traffic.
• Maintain professional interactions with contractors, customers, vendors and employees.
• Coordinate sales center training and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory stock levels and merchandising of showroom.


• Manage inventory to ensure minimal loss throughout the year.


• Recruit, hire, train and develop new associates in compliance with labor laws and company policy.


• Manage workforce including Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, Delivery, Fleet Drivers, Showroom, Counter Sales and Sales personnel.


• Promote safety awareness ensuring associates are employing safe practices at all times.


• Effectively manage the branch P&L.


• Holds self and others accountable for delivering exceptional customer experience while addressing customer needs and concerns in a timely manner.


• Analyze and measure business trends, while working with local sales personnel and regional leadership to develop strategies for increased store traffic.


• Conduct him/herself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors, customers, vendors and employees.


• Coordinate sales center training and company/center events.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of operational experience with retail or wholesale industry.


• Proven leadership, coaching/mentoring and team-oriented mindset along with effective delegation of duties.


• Demonstrated ability to grow sales in a retail environment.


• Experience analyzing and using customer, market, or competitor data to make informed decisions.


• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.


• Experience leading a team of employees towards achieving company goals.


• Computer literacy with proficiency with MS office applications.


• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task on different levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the HVAC industry with proficiency in air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at the distribution level.


• Experience working with contractors.


• Prior leadership roles with P&L responsibility.


• Proven success in sales, operations, purchasing, and warehouse/inventory management.


• Mechanical or technical background.
