DoubleTree by Hilton Dayton Fairborn seeks a dynamic, results-driven Sales & Catering Manager to turn opportunities into booked business and events into lasting client relationships. The role focuses on catering and event sales, developing new business, and partnering with clients from initial inquiry to event execution.

You'll own the sales process, build corporate, association, government, university, and social accounts, and collaborate with culinary and banquet teams to maximize revenue

• Proven experience in hotel catering sales, hospitality sales, banquet sales, or event business development.
• Strong prospecting, negotiating, closing contracts, and achieving sales goals.
• Ability to build relationships and generate repeat business across corporate, government, and social accounts.

What You'll Do

• Sell, Sell, Sell! Actively pursue new catering, banquet, meeting, and group business while maximizing revenue from every opportunity.
• Turn Inquiries into Contracts. Respond to leads, create compelling proposals, conduct site tours, negotiate pricing, and confidently close business.
• Build Lasting Relationships. Develop corporate, association, government, university, and social event accounts that generate repeat business.
• Create Exceptional Events. Partner with clients to plan successful meetings, weddings, banquets, and celebrations from initial booking through event completion.
• Maximize Revenue. Identify opportunities to increase guest room bookings, food and beverage sales, meeting room rental, and additional event services.
• Work as One Team. Collaborate with our culinary, banquet, operations, and sales teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Own Your Results. Manage your sales pipeline, follow up consistently, achieve revenue goals, and take pride in the business you generate.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

We're looking for someone who is confident, outgoing, organized, competitive, and genuinely excited about selling.

• Has proven experience in hotel catering sales, hospitality sales, banquet sales, or event business development.
• Enjoys prospecting, negotiating, closing contracts, and achieving sales goals.
• Understands catering operations, banquet event orders, menus, event planning, and food and beverage revenue.
• Can confidently manage multiple clients and events without losing attention to detail.
• Builds relationships naturally and recognizes opportunities to generate repeat business.
• Is self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of sales results.
• Brings a positive attitude, creative thinking, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of hotel catering, event sales, or hospitality sales experience, with demonstrated success in generating revenue and securing new business.
