Job summary

North Point Hospitality is seeking an entry-level hospitality sales/events coordinator in Nashville. You’ll work with the Catering and Sales teams to coordinate weddings, corporate meetings, banquets, and special events at downtown hotels.

Work will focus on hands-on event coordination, client communications, and post-event follow‑up. Training and mentorship will help you grow into hospitality sales and hotel management roles.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Delphi FDC experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating catering events, including meetings, weddings, banquets, and conferences.
• Communicate with clients to confirm event details (menus, timelines, room setup, guest count).
• Prepare banquet event orders (BEOs) and distribute to departments.
• Liaise with kitchen, banquet staff, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist in menu planning and accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests.
• Maintain detailed records of events, contracts, and client communications.
• Handle last-minute changes or issues professionally and efficiently.
• Support post-event follow-up, including posting banquet charges and deposits.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Hospitality, catering, or event experience is a plus - but not required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office required; Delphi FDC experience is a bonus

Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.

The pay range for this role is: $20 - $23 USD dependent upon experience and education
