Qualifications
5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in building materials, construction products, insulation, acoustics, or related industries.
Demonstrated success owning a sales quota and growing revenue with distributors, contractors, OEMs, or specifiers.
Strong understanding of construction channels (distributors, dealers, reps), project cycles, and how products get specified and approved.
Comfort with technical selling: reading plans/specs, discussing fire, acoustic, and thermal performance, and translating data into customer value.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools and a data‑driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
Ability to travel as needed to key customers and trade shows.
Experience with sustainable or bio‑based materials (e.g., hemp, natural fibers, low‑carbon products).
Existing relationships with insulation distributors, acoustic integrators, architects, or GC/installer networks.
