Job summary

URBN is seeking a Sales Audit Analyst to oversee daily auditing of store transactions for all brands, ensure accurate cash reconciliation, and support bank closures.

You will communicate with stores and internal teams, analyze transactions, and help maintain timely and accurate monthly sales journals.

The role requires 3-4 years retail experience, Excel proficiency, and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of retail experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical skills with clear reporting abilities.
• Multi-Currency experience is a plus.
• Accurate bookkeeping skills.
• Familiarity with Recon Net Reconciliation system is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with upper management and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial transactions including receipts and overages/shortages as reported by retail stores.
• Complete daily cash reconciliation from cash sweep and credit card settlement processes.
• Coordinate with Sales Audit Supervisor for timely daily reviews.
• Partner with Brand Operations and Loss Prevention to ensure compliant procedures.
• Recommend new reporting to reflect business changes and ad hoc requests.
• Support Sales Audit initiatives and monthly calendar close tasks.
