URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Sales Audit Analyst to oversee daily auditing of store transactions for all brands and to verify electronic payment types including cash, cards, and gift cards.

You will communicate succinctly with stores and internal departments to ensure accurate monthly sales journal closure and timely bank reconciliation. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in retail finance.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of prior retail experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and clear data presentation.
• Multi-Currency experience is a plus.
• Accurate bookkeeping and data integrity are essential.
• Ability to navigate financial systems and reconcile transactions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial transactions and identify trends, corrections, and discrepancies.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation from cash sweep and credit card settlements.
• Collaborate with Sales Audit Supervisor to ensure timely reviews.
• Coordinate with Brand Operations and Loss Prevention on procedures and exceptions.
• Administer the store audit process with internal departments and compliance expectations.
• Develop ad hoc reports and support monthly sales close and bank reconciliation.
