Overview

Sales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. They must be knowledgeable of all product lines and are responsible for keeping the store neat, clean, and merchandise properly displayed. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets, and maintaining all visual standards to ensure a neat and inviting store environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the "Cavender's Culture" and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service using professional and knowledgeable selling techniques.
• Avoid high-pressure sales tactics.
• Maximize selling opportunities with each customer.
• Stay updated on the latest fashion trends in western wear.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Be knowledgeable about CBC policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about current sale promotions.
• Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization.
• Report to work promptly and maintain neat grooming standards.
• Always be security conscious.
• Ensure products are correctly signed, displayed, and in their proper areas; check for mismates in the boot department.
• Assist customers with returns and exchanges.
• Respond knowledgeably to customer inquiries about fit, promotions, prices, and product details.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Work with supervisors to understand actions needed to meet company goals (e.g., ADS, UPTs, contests).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift objects regularly during shifts.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and documents.
• Ability to apply abstract principles to complex tasks.
