WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As a Sales Associate - Range Safety Officer, you'll play a critical role in creating an outstanding experience for every customer who visits White Birch Armory. Your day may begin by greeting customers and helping them select firearms, accessories, or merchandise that best fits their needs. Throughout your shift, you'll answer questions, provide knowledgeable product guidance, process sales transactions, special orders, firearm transfers, exchanges, and returns, while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor. You'll also assist customers on the range, help with target systems and range operations, monitor activity to ensure safe firearm handling practices are being followed, address safety concerns as they arise, complete compliance documentation, and contribute wherever needed to support the overall success of the retail and range operations.

WHAT'S YOUR SCHEDULE?

• Part-Time
• Minimum 24 hours per week
• Up to 29 hours weekly
• Evening shifts
• Night shifts
• Weekend availability required
• Shifts vary within business hours
• Range & Retail Store Hours: Open Daily, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM OUR SALES ASSOCIATE - RANGE SAFETY OFFICER?

We're looking for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• Strong customer service, communication, and active listening skills
• Strong sales ability and confidence recommending products to customers
• Working knowledge of firearms, firearm safety, and related merchandise
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and safety-focused in dynamic environments
• Ability to operate or quickly learn point-of-sale and operational systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be legally eligible to possess and purchase firearms

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail, customer service, or firearms-related experience
• Previous range safety or firearms handling experience

Must have the ability to pass a background check.
