POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Leader

Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sales Associate role ensures every customer is provided the assistance and knowledge to fulfill their desired experience by being proficient in product knowledge, selling skills, and operations. The main responsibility is to convert customers to buyers with sales that fulfill their experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide outstanding customer service and foster lasting relationships.
• Greet customers and facilitate their experience.
• Ask for the sale to convert customers into buyers.
• Inform customers of services, discounts, offers, and promotions.
• Conduct range check-in efficiently and friendly.
• Maintain range timer and ensure proper firearm rental process.
• Communicate with Range Safety Officer regarding safety and customer issues.
• Answer questions about products, pricing, and features.
• Maintain compliance with government regulations including background checks.
• Stay updated on new products and industry news.
• As an ecommerce picker, check the pickup dashboard hourly for new orders.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Ability to understand and follow compliance regulations and handle confidential information.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 or older.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Extended standing.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Working at heights up to 10 feet.
