A local pistol range in New Jersey seeks a friendly and service-oriented Range Safety Officer. This role involves assisting customers with firearms safety, maintaining a safe environment, and performing basic gunsmithing tasks. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, knowledge of gun safety, and an NJ Firearms ID Card. The position requires a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, in a fun and energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
• Must have a NJ Firearms ID Card.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with firearms safety information.
• Maintain a safe environment for all patrons.
• Teach gun safety and basic shooting fundamentals.
• Process customers in and out of the range.
• Perform basic gunsmithing tasks like cleaning.
• Perform basic gunsmithing tasks such as cleaning and sight installations.
• Run CCARE qualifications if qualified.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Range Safety Officer to join our team! As a Range Safety Officer, you will be assisting customers with Firearms Safety Information and maintaining a safe environment for all patrons. Responsibilities include assisting both new and experience shooters on the range, processing customers into the range, maintain safe environment, and basic gunsmithing such as gun cleaning and sight installation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, knowledge of gun safety and operations, basic gunsmithing ability and training certificates.

Responsibilities

• Helping New Shooters.
• Teaching Gun Safety and Basic Shooting Fundamentals.
• Maintain Safe Environment for all Patrons.
• Basic Point of Sales Tasks.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Basic Gunsmithing, such as Cleanings and Sight Installations.
• If Qualified, running CCARE Qualifications.

• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
