Job description

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role requires engaging with customers, advising them on products, and driving sales. Both part‑time and full‑time positions focus primarily on sales, but employees may also be assigned merchandising, front‑end, or other responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end‑caps, place signage.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and ensure adherence to all laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol.
• Perform cross‑functional responsibilities as assigned and complete other duties as required.
• Load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws (if delivery is an essential job function).
• Expected seasonal role: if coded as seasonal, position is short‑term, no longer than six months, with option to apply for a non‑seasonal role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; lift up to 50lbs overhead repeatedly.
• Must be 21years of age or older.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
