Job summary

Total Wine & More in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Store Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. You will engage with customers, advise on products, and may assist with merchandising, front-end, or other duties as needed.

We value 21+ age, flexibility, and the ability to learn about wine, beer, and spirits through training. This role includes responsibilities from inventory, online order fulfillment, curbside pickup, and maintaining a safe, compliant store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 1+ year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers, build relationships, and provide personalized service
• Assist with sales, product knowledge, and cross-sell products
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling online orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services
• Deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures, including traffic and safety laws if delivery is required
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and provide a safe, compliant store environment
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned

About the Role

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. Physical Requirements

• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day
