About the Role
All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role focuses primarily on sales responsibilities but may also include merchandising, front‑end support, or other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide service and drive sales by engaging with customers and advising them on products.
- Conduct wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage, and support digital operations by fulfilling orders.
- Assist with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
- Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies, procedures, and all traffic and safety laws (if delivery is an essential job function).
- If this position is seasonal, it will be short‑term, no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non‑seasonal role.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–3 years of work experience, with a preference for 1+ year in a retail setting.
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
- Climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs overhead repeatedly.
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
