Job summary

Hassett Hardware in Belmont, CA, is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service, cashier, stock handling, and merchandising. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help locate merchandise while upholding store policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service following the S.A.L.E.S process and by mystery shop standards.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Execute daily operational tasks and priorities assigned by store management.
• Assist in training and development of peers.
• Participate in daily huddle meetings.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
• Assist with processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock area clean and organized.
• Be aware of and respond to safety issues.
• Help customers locate items in-store and online, and process special orders.
• Encourage customers to open an Ace Rewards card.

• Assist in the training and development of peers.
• Actively participate in daily huddle meetings.

• Participate in the processing of new shipments and help the team to keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized.
• Aware of and able to respond to safety issues.
• Aid customers in locating merchandising in store, on acehardware.com, as well as, processing special orders.
• Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card.
• Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements

The minimum requirements for this position include:
