Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking a team-oriented cashier in Stevens Point, WI. You will process purchases, scan items, and handle payments while adhering to cash handling standards. You will also educate customers on Round Up and Good Points programs and help maintain store displays.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, and a willingness to learn computer systems. Availability for holidays, evenings, and weekends is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by efficiently and accurately scanning tickets and processing payment while following cash handling standards.
• Educates customers on Round Up program to achieve program goals.
• Informs customers on Good Points program to achieve program goals.
• Operates telephone including professionally answering calls and operating the paging system.
• Ensures items are properly displayed, pulled, and restocked in alignment with merchandising standards and leadership guidance.
• Assists customers in locating items when possible or seeks assistance for the customer if unable to help.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; completes opening/closing checklists and supports general cleaning, including parking lot maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
