Job summary

IBC Bank in Laredo, TX is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver efficient customer and financial services and to promote bank products, establishing new relationships in a friendly, professional environment. You will support branch operations, assist with opening and closing, handle inquiries, and strive to meet individual and branch sales goals while representing the 'IBC Experience' every day.

The role is in-office and full-time, requiring a high school diploma and prior customer-facing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the IBC Experience with prompt, friendly customer service.
• Promote bank products and services to walk-in customers and through outreach activities.
• Assist with branch opening/closing procedures and dual control.
• Adhere to New Account Opening policies and compliance checks.
• Support Branch Manager with adherence to branch processes and inventory management.
• Attend meetings and events; maintain personal sales performance goals.

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate position is responsible for providing efficient and accurate customer and financial services while delivering the “IBC Experience”. This includes meeting customer needs by offering bank products and services and establishing new relationships.

• Meet customer financial needs by promoting bank products and services through walk in customers, follow up calls, onboarding, aisle time, and outreach activities
• Assist with branch opening/closing procedures and dual control
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the New Account Opening Process
• Support Branch Manager with adherence to the Compliance Facility Checklist
• Maintain branch inventory and supplies
• Flexibility to travel and assist other branches
• Flexibility to assist and perform teller operation functions
• Attend meetings and other events
• Maintain individual sales performance goals
• Promptly respond to and communicate customer complaints
• Assist with on- the- job sales training
• Other duties as assigned
