Job summary

Crosby’s Stores in Bradford, PA is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a clean, safe store environment, and actively support sales and profitability goals throughout your shift.

You’ll provide prompt, courteous service, prepare fresh food items, promote My Crosby’s Rewards, and suggest add‑on items at checkout while communicating effectively with teammates and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 18 years or older required.
• Previous retail or food-service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Proficient in basic math to handle cash transactions, shift reports and vendor check-ins.
• Ability to operate lottery, POS systems and other equipment.
• Tolerance of exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to every customer.
• Prepare fresh food and made‑to‑order items following company recipes and standards.
• Promote My Crosby’s Rewards and assist customers with enrollment and offers.
• Balance and report register activity at the end of each shift.
• Follow all cash handling procedures and report discrepancies over $5.00.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and uphold food safety standards.
• Keep shelves, coolers, and displays stocked and properly priced.
• Report any issues related to sales, pricing, or store operations.
