You will use brand tools to inform customers and maintain store standards while supporting a collaborative team environment. Ideal candidates have retail experience, strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
• Able to stand and move about for extended periods of time with short rest breaks.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform all Essential Job Functions.
• Proficient with technology.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate the AEO Customer First selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals.
• Drive AE brand loyalty through knowledge of loyalty programs and informing customers of each program.
• Leverage tools and technology to provide product knowledge and maximize sales.
• Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge and assisting in customer interactions.
• Outfit the customer by suggesting looks and incorporating trends and promotions.
• Promote awareness of AEO and aerie brands through various channels.
• Process register sales transactions quickly and accurately.
• Restock returns to correct locations and label/dplace damaged merchandise properly.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room and stockroom.
• Handle merchandise from shipment, floorsets, markdowns and replenishment per SOP.
• Resolve customer concerns per policy with customer satisfaction in mind.
• Understand and adhere to all company policy and procedures.
