Job summary

The Cagayan State University is seeking a motivated sales trainee to learn and perform the company's sales steps through training and observation. You will develop skills in prospecting and cold calling to build new accounts and shadow sales representatives with travel.

You will assist senior representatives in sourcing, securing, and managing business, attend internal and external meetings, maintain relationships with existing accounts, and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in sales, marketing, business, communications, packaging, economics, or related fields with an interest in sales
• Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High motivation to learn and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Driven and motivated to succeed in sales
• Prior experience using a CRM such as Salesforce preferred
• Sales internship or selling experience
• Reliable transportation to travel within the designated territory

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform the company's sales steps through training and observation
• Develop skills in prospecting and cold calling to build new accounts
• Shadow sales representatives with some travel required
• Assist senior sales representatives in sourcing, securing, and managing business
• Attend internal and external sales meetings
• Maintain relationships with existing accounts and customers
• Build a sales funnel specific to your post-training assignment
• Engage in continued development through marketing and sales publications
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
