Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in sales, marketing, business, communications, finance, sustainability, or a related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong listening skills, and confidence engaging new people.
• Curiosity, resilience, organization, and a willingness to learn through coaching and practice.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; CRM, prospecting-tool, energy, or complex solution sales experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Research priority industries, companies, facilities, and decision‑makers using approved data sources and account criteria.
• Build and maintain targeted prospect lists for healthcare, commercial real estate, automotive, manufacturing, distribution, and other commercial markets.
• Support coordinated outreach through email, phone, professional networking platforms, events, and follow‑up campaigns.
• Prepare account briefs, help qualify early interest, and document customer needs, timing, stakeholders, and agreed next steps.
• Enter accurate activity, contact, and opportunity notes in the CRM and support clean handoffs to sales leaders.
• Track outreach results and share weekly observations about messaging, market response, and emerging opportunities.
