Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Tenneva is seeking Retail Sales Associates to join our mission-driven team in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll greet customers, process donations, tag and price items, and help stock the sales floor with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

We value reliable, flexible team players who can handle a varied schedule, including weekends, with strong customer service and communication skills. High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, courteous service to all customers and donors.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace front and back.
• Follow Goodwill Push System procedures for inventory flow.
• Adhere to safety, security, and payment policies.
• Participate in team meetings and support store goals through teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Provide professional, courteous service to all customers and donors - greeting everyone with a smile and a "thank you".
• Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) system accurately and efficiently.
• Work in any area of the store as needed, including:
  • Receiving and sorting donations
  • Tagging and pricing clothing and household goods
  • Processing donated items for sale
  • Stocking, rotating, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in both front and back areas of the store.
• Follow all procedures of the Goodwill Push System for inventory flow.
• Adhere to all safety, security, and payment policies.
• Participate in team meetings and support store goals through teamwork and positive communication.

What We're Looking For
