Job summary

Mega Saver in Spirit Lake, IA is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an upscale guest experience at the register and on the floor. You will upsell, stock shelves, and keep the store looking its best while promoting the loyalty program and app to every guest.

You will handle multiple payment types, follow state and federal rules for restricted sales, and support inventory and housekeeping duties. A friendly, reliable team player with strong communication will thrive here.

Responsibilities

• Provide an upscale experience for every customer, by using engaging language like "Welcome to Mega Saver" and "Absolutely".
• Actively promote Mega Saver's Loyalty Card and App to every customer.
• Engage and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities by upselling and cross selling.
• Accurately handle multiple forms of payment including cash, credit/debit, and other accepted tenders.
• Follow all guidelines related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, lottery) in accordance with state and federal law.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, checkout area, outside lot, trash, and restrooms.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment.
• Team-focused attitude with a willingness to cross train.
