Job summary

Little Words Project in Short Hills, NJ is hiring Sales Associates to join our team at the mall. You’ll help guests pick bracelets that express their story and create a memorable in-store experience.

You’ll share our mission of kindness and self-love, assist with events and bead bar activities, handle transactions at the POS, and maintain an inspiring sales floor.

Weekend and holiday availability is required; be positive, collaborative, and ready to brighten every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred; but a fast learner with a great attitude is welcome.
• Strong communication skills—you enjoy chatting with guests and working with a team.
• Passion for beading, styling, and capturing fun content in-store.
• Positive attitude with problem-solving mindset.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Belief in Little Words Project’s mission and spreading kindness daily.

Responsibilities

• Share our mission, help guests find the perfect pieces, and personalize recommendations.
• Assist with in-store beading appointments, parties, and events.
• Process transactions at the POS system and answer guest questions.
• Keep the sales floor tidy, stocked, and visually inspiring for guests.
• Assist at the bead bar, tie bracelets, and fulfill custom orders.
• Support inventory intake, visual merchandising, clienteling, and KPIs to keep the store thriving.
• Other duties as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
