Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned business operating a Newark store. The role is 16 hours over 4 days, weekends on a rota, with potential early shifts. You will deliver excellent customer service, keep the store neat and well merchandised, and assist with stock and deliveries.

Training will be provided for the EPOS till system, and you will learn product information to effectively describe features and benefits to customers while following company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving deliveries and stock replenishment.

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our store at Newark.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
